यह कार्यक्रम छत्तीसगढ़ की पद्मश्री शमशाद बेगम द्वारा महिला सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में किए गए कार्यों पर आधारित है। Social Pillars इस प्रभाव पूर्ण कार्यक्रम को शमशाद बेगम के मार्गदर्शन में अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर ले जा रहे हैं।
What is MAHILA COMMANDO?
The Mahila Commando is a social initiative by Padmashri Shamshad Begum, who is also a reputed member of the World Peace Council in India. Out of her multiple endeavours, Mahila Commando is an imagination that has entirely changed the social scenario. She commenced the idea from a small district Gunderdehi of Balod, Chhattisgarh.
महिला कमांडो पद्मश्री शमशाद बेगम की एक सामाजिक पहल है, जो भारत में विश्व शांति परिषद की एक प्रतिष्ठित सदस्य भी हैं। उनके कई प्रयासों में से, महिला कमांडो एक कल्पना है जिसने सामाजिक परिदृश्य को पूरी तरह से बदल दिया है। उन्होंने इस विचार की शुरुआत बालोद, छत्तीसगढ़ के एक छोटे से जिले गुंडरदेही से की थी।

Who Are Mahila Commandos?
Before we directly jump onto What Mahila Commandos do, it’s really essential to know who Mahila Commandos is?
Manila Commandos is a group of self-sufficient women willing to work voluntarily for social welfare. Generally, these women are in the age group of 18 to 45 years.
The women in these groups are physically and mentally fit, socially active, acknowledged with the ground reality, and live selflessly to help the needy.
महिला कमांडो क्या करती हैं, इस पर सीधे जाने से पहले, यह जानना वास्तव में आवश्यक है कि महिला कमांडो कौन हैं?
मनीला कमांडो आत्मनिर्भर महिलाओं का एक समूह है जो सामाजिक कल्याण के लिए स्वेच्छा से काम करने को तैयार है। आमतौर पर ये महिलाएं 18 से 45 साल की उम्र के बीच होती हैं।
इन समूहों की महिलाएं शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से स्वस्थ हैं, सामाजिक रूप से सक्रिय हैं, जमीनी हकीकत से वाकिफ हैं और जरूरतमंदों की मदद के लिए निस्वार्थ भाव से जीती हैं।

What Does Mahila Commando Do?
- Introducing the Power of Oneness:
महिला कमांडो दर्शाती है कि अगर हम मिलकर किसी कार्य को पूरा करने का निर्णय लेते हैं, तो उसे जीत के साथ हासिल किया जा सकता है। महिला कमांडो की टोली सामाजिक कुरीतियों को खत्म करने के लिए एकजुट रहती है और उन्हें काफी हद तक सफलता भी मिली है। इस कदम का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य परिवार की सभी महिलाओं को एक साथ शांति से रखना और प्रचलित मिथकों, नशीली दवाओं के दुरुपयोग, लैंगिक असमानताओं, बाल विवाह, बाल श्रम, दहेज और समाज की अन्य परेशान करने वाली प्रथाओं के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करना है।
- Spreading Awareness:
An educated woman is a key to an educated society. So, it becomes a necessity to let women know about their rights. Manila Commandos talk to the women in their area and help them acknowledge their social value, the importance of having a bank account, stopping female infanticide, educating the girl child, taking the proper steps against domestic violence, and more.
एक शिक्षित महिला एक शिक्षित समाज की कुंजी है। इसलिए महिलाओं को उनके अधिकारों के बारे में बताना जरूरी हो गया है। महिला कमांडो अपने क्षेत्र की महिलाओं से बात करते हैं और उनके सामाजिक मूल्य, बैंक खाते के महत्व, कन्या भ्रूण हत्या को रोकने, बालिकाओं को शिक्षित करने, घरेलू हिंसा के खिलाफ उचित कदम उठाने आदि को स्वीकार करने में उनकी मदद करते हैं।
- Importance of Vote:
The voter count in India has never been 100% as per the eligibility. It was recorded highest in 2019, approximately 60-65%. Well, people in remote areas still do not understand the power of the vote. So, Mahila Commando Community takes responsibility for the same by seeking campaigns about the right to vote and the importance of voting.
- Night Patrolling:
It’s usually observed that most criminal and anti-social activities take place at night after men’s booze in rural areas. The purpose of night patrolling by the Mahila Commando troops is to monitor the activities around the community and ensure everyone is safe. Night patrolling has held significant control over criminal activities.
Eligibility to Become a Mahila Commando:
While the name suggests Mahila Commando is a group of women, there are still some eligibility criteria to be a part of this special female troop. Here are the details.
जबकि नाम से पता चलता है कि महिला कमांडो महिलाओं का एक समूह है, इस विशेष महिला टुकड़ी का हिस्सा बनने के लिए अभी भी कुछ पात्रता मानदंड हैं। यहाँ विवरण हैं।
- The age of the Mahila Commando shall be between 18 to 45 years.
- They should not have any criminal record and shall not commit any actions against the law.
- Mahila Commandos are given special training, and the ones who qualify for the training can be part of special troops.
- For night patrolling, Mahila Commandos shall always be in uniform, i.e., their red saree and cap.
- The commandos shall report any illegal and anti-social activities around the area to the panchayat and associated police stations without breaking any laws.
- Once you are a part of Mahila Commando, ensure that you have to be present in the periodic meetings.
- महिला कमांडो की आयु 18 से 45 वर्ष के बीच होगी।
- उनका कोई आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड नहीं होना चाहिए और वे कानून के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई नहीं करेंगे।
- महिला कमांडो को विशेष प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है, और जो प्रशिक्षण के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त करते हैं वे विशेष सैनिकों का हिस्सा हो सकते हैं।
- रात्रि गश्त के लिए महिला कमांडो हमेशा वर्दी में होंगी, अर्थात उनकी लाल साड़ी और टोपी।
- कमांडो किसी भी कानून को तोड़े बिना क्षेत्र के आसपास किसी भी अवैध और असामाजिक गतिविधियों की सूचना पंचायत और संबंधित पुलिस थानों को देंगे।
- एक बार जब आप महिला कमांडो का हिस्सा बन जाते हैं, तो सुनिश्चित करें कि आपको समय-समय पर होने वाली बैठकों में उपस्थित रहना होगा।
